Sidney Crosby was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins 1st overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. The young phenom broke into the league during the 2005-06 season. He put up 102 points in his rookie campaign, finishing second for the Calder Trophy behind Washington's Alex Ovechkin.
The very next season, Crosby scored 120 points, his best single season to date. He had his first taste of playoff hockey that season. The Penguins lost if the first round to the eventual Eastern Conference Champion Ottawa Senators. Soon after their defeat, on May 31, 2007, the Penguins named Sidney Crosby the new captain of the team. Since then, Crosby has won three Stanley Cup Championships (2009, 2016, 2017).
Sidney Crosby wore this road set 2 jersey from during the regular season, from January 16th through the end of the regular season on March 10th. The season ended abruptly on March 12th due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Because of this, the Penguins continued to wear their set 2 jerseys into the Stanley Cup Playoffs once play resumed.
During the regular season, Crosby scored five goals and added three assists in thirteen games. He also logged eight penalty minutes along with a minus twelve rating.
This road jersey was also worn during the Stanley Cup Qualifier round against the Montreal Canadiens. The Penguins lost in four games to the Canadiens. On August 5th, Crosby had an assist on Hornqvist's goal, moving him past Doug Gilmour and Joe Sakic into eighth place in NHL postseason points with 189 (68 goals, 121 assists) in 167 games. Another unique aspect of this jersey is that Sid wore it on August 7, his birthday. It is the only time in his career that he has played in an NHL game on his birthday. The jersey features Crosby's customizations including sleeve extensions and a squared off bottom hem.

Jake Guentzel was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins 77th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on November 21, 2016, against the New York Rangers. Guentzel scored his first two career goals in that game on his first two shots despite a 5-2 loss to the Rangers. Guentzel won his 1st Stanley Cup in his rookie year with the Penguins after defeating Nashville in the finals.
Guentzel was voted to his first All-Star game during the 2019-20 season where he put up 20 goals and 23 assists in 39 games. Unfortunately, Guentzel's season was cut short due to injury. His last game of the regular season was played on December 30, 2019, where he recorded his 200th point.
Jake Guentzel wore this road set 1 jersey for a total of 17 games. In that span he scored seven goals and had 8 helpers. Along with his 15 points, he held a plus 4 rating and logged 8 penalty minutes. This was the only regular season road jersey that Jake wore.

WORN IN LAST GAME WITH PENGUINS
Matt Murray was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. In 2016, Murray won his first Stanley Cup championship as the starting goaltender for the Penguins during the playoffs after having replaced then-starter Marc-Andre Fleury. Murray would split the net with Fleury during the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs, winning the Stanley Cup again in 2017. Murray became the first goaltender to win back-to-back Stanley Cups as a rookie.
After two successful seasons, the Penguins chose to expose Fleury in the expansion draft and go with Murray as their goalie of the future. However, not long after, Murray began to regress. On October 7, 2020, the Penguins traded Murray to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Jonathan Gruden and a 2nd round pick in 2020.
Murray wore this road set 2 jersey for seven regular season games and one playoff game. He posted a 3-5 record over his 8-game stint. Murray's final game as a Penguin was played while wearing this jersey on August 5, 2020, vs Montreal during the Stanley Cup Qualifiers in Toronto.

Jason Zucker was acquired by the Pittsburgh Penguins on February 10, 2020, from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Alex Galchenyuk and a conditional first round pick. The Penguins originally tried to acquire Zucker the summer before, with Phil Kessel heading the other way. The trade deal fell through as Phil Kessel nixed the trade due to his no-trade clause.
Zucker had an immediate impact in the lineup, putting up 4 points in his first five games as a Penguin. He finished the regular season with 12 points in 15 games with the black and gold.
Jason Zucker wore this road set 2 / playoff jersey for six regular season games and two playoff games. He scored three goals and added an assist over that span. Along with his four points, he held a minus two rating and logged two penalty minutes.
